Here we are 2010! I celebrated at home with a great friend and all the kids it was great. We haven't gone out for New Year's in a while I guess that means we are getting kind of old. We still managed to have a great time and 2 kids even managed to stay up and watch the fireworks with us. This is going to be a great year it has to because every year my life becomes more rich (not in the money way). We are so grateful to have good friends and a close family I am not sure what we would do without them.
As for school it is getting easier everyday now that Kayak can do a workbook of her own (it is for 4-5 year olds) but she does most of it with no problem. As for the reading I pick books that they both enjoy and we do a unit study that is age appropriate for both of them. Now we are starting to do a little science here and there, this week we grew this rye grass that they have enjoyed watching now they can cut the "hair" and watch it grow again! We are also have added more writing for Star and are going about it with the Handwriting Without Tears method. This year we are not buying any curriculum next year we may have to.
